Fountaingrove Area Pavement Recovery Work to Begin

Pavement rehabilitation for the Neighborhood Disaster Recovery project is now complete in the Coffey Park neighborhood and is expected to begin in Fountaingrove the week of September 30 and continue into November, weather permitting.

Over the past few weeks, crews have been preparing for the upcoming paving operations by lowering sewer and water covers and replacing existing curb ramps with new ADA-compliant ramps in the Fountaingrove neighborhoods. The paving process involves grinding and removing approximately 2-3inches of existing pavement on residential streets, which will then be replaced with new asphalt, revitalizing neighborhood roadways damaged following the 2017 Tubbs Wildfire.Streets noted with an asterisk below will receive a digouttreatment, which means that only heavily damaged portions of the street will be removed and replaced. Typical working hours will be Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., although lane closures will not begin until 8:00 a.m. Some lane closures may extend beyond 5:00 p.m., depending on the weather and the speed at which the asphalt cools. Schedule is subject to change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
