NCPD K-9 Unit achieves certification

Last week, our entire K-9 Unit participated in the International Police Working Dog Association annual certification seminar, hosted by the Charleston County Aviation Authority Police. Each individual handler/canine team was successfully put through rigorous testing in such categories as: obedience & control, article searches, area searches, tracking, building searches, and narcotics detection. We are proud of our K-9 Unit and congratulate them on another successful annual certification.
