Dallas Fed names Jeff Bongiovanni as vice president over regional banking organizations

DALLAS-The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has named Jeff Bongiovanni as vice president with responsibility for overseeing the regional bank supervision team effective Nov. 1.

In his new role, Bongiovanni takes over a group responsible for a growing portfolio of Eleventh District state member banks and bank holding companies with assets between $10 billion and $100 billion.

He joined the Dallas Fed in 2016 as a senior examiner on the community banking supervision team and was later named director of examinations for the group.

Bongiovanni currently serves as the Dallas Fed's representative on the Fed's Regional Banking Organizations Management Group and the Small Bank Supervision Workgroup established by Fed Gov. Michelle Bowman. He has participated in work under the Fed's system-wide project to transform and strengthen supervision.

Bongiovanni holds a degree in finance from Louisiana State University. He is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at LSU.
