Tuolumne County

One-Way Traffic Control on State Routes 49, 108, And 120

Tuolumne County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct one-way traffic controls next week on State Route 49 (SR-49), State Route 108 (SR-108), and State Route 120 (SR-120). Work is scheduled as follows:

State Route 49

Full closure of northbound SR-49 between the SR-49/120 split and Sims Road for drainage work on Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Motorists are advised to detour to eastbound SR-108 via westbound SR-120.

One-way traffic control between Rawhide Road and Wilcox Ranch Road for tree work on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

One-way traffic control between Old Sonora Columbia Road in Sonora and Mormon Creek Road in Tuttletown for maintenance work beginning Wednesday, September 4 through Friday, September 6, from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

State Route 108

One-way traffic control between Bald Mountain Heliport Road and Herring Creek Lane for drainage work beginning Tuesday, September 3, through Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

State Route 120

One-way traffic control on New Priest Grade Road (SR-120) between Grizzly Road and Old Priest Grade Road for shoulder work beginning Tuesday, September 3, through Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 7:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
