Lane closed on section of Peachers Mill Road for water main leak repair

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Clarksville Gas & Water is repairing a water main leak on Peachers Mill Road and has closed approximately 300 feet of the outer southbound lane of Peachers Mill Road to traffic beginning at the intersection of W. Allen Griffey Road. Traffic will be shifted to the inside lane during the repair work.

Motorists are asked to slow down when approaching the work zone and be alert to utility workers and their equipment or choose an alternate travel route.

Low water pressure may also affect the vicinity while the work is underway.

The water line leak repair work is anticipated to be finished and the lane reopened by approximately 12 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31.
