Raleigh Arts is excited to announce the 2024 Raleigh Medal of Arts awardees selected by the City of Raleigh Arts Commission. The Raleigh Medal of Arts is the City's highest arts honor. The 2024 Medal of Arts Awards Ceremony at Raleigh Little Theatre will feature performances by local talent. The Raleigh Medal of Arts awardees for 2024 are:

  • Creative Mornings Raleigh
  • Roy C. Dicks
  • Fruit of Labor World Cultural Center
  • Yvette Holder
  • Timothy Locklear
  • Rob Maddrey and Mark Tulbert
  • Ilse Mann
  • Raleigh Drum Circle

Attend the Ceremony

Please join the City of Raleigh Arts Commission for the 2024 Raleigh Medal of Arts Awards hosted by Rissi Palmer on Tuesday, October 8, at Raleigh Little Theatre.

The pre-show reception with live entertainment begins at 6 p.m., and the awards program starts at 7 p.m.

About the Raleigh Medal of Arts

The Raleigh Medal of Arts is awarded for extraordinary achievement in the practice or support of local arts. Based on the National Medal of Arts program, the Raleigh Award was inaugurated in 1984 by the Raleigh Arts Commission to recognize excellence in the arts. Over the past 34 years, 170 medals have been awarded.
