Mayor Walsh Announces Road Reconstruction Project on Valley Drive

Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh announced a road reconstruction project on Valley Drive beginning August 10, 2024. Crews will mill and pave from West Newell Street to West Seneca Turnpike. The road will be closed during construction from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. with traffic detours in place.
Drivers may experience delays and are advised to use alternate routes if possible. The project is expected to be completed in about two weeks; actual project timeframe is contingent on favorable weather.
