On July 3rd of this year, Officers responded to a report of someone having been shot in the 2900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way. Arriving Officers located the victim deceased from what was later determined to be a gunshot wound. Having continuously worked the case from the beginning, Detectives were able to identify the suspect and obtained a Ramey warrant for their arrest. Diligent work in locating evidence, including surveillance footage, was vital to the closure of this investigation.
