RE: Hazardous Weather Conditions Imminent - Strong Storm to Enter the Panhandle early next week….

For those trying to gain access to 11 Mile Weather Station Data (link provided in previous PSA below), when you are at the website do the following:

1) Under variables, select "accumulated precipitation"

2) Under time period, select "previous 5 days"

3) Click Change Graph

Attention Wrangell residents: Heavy rainfall and strong winds are forecasted for early next week (Monday - Tuesday, October 1^st and 2^nd). The storm is expected to move into the area on Monday, bringing rain rates as high as 0.4 to .7 inches every 6 hours. Southwesterly gusts are expected.

If you live near hillsides or areas with loose soil, please stay vigilant and monitor your surroundings. Be sure to stay updated on the latest weather reports from the US National Weather Service to ensure your safety.

Safety should always come first. If you feel uncertain about your safety at any time, don't hesitate to move to a more secure location.
