The following Master Question List was developed by the Science and Technology Directorate to present the current state of available information to government decision makers in the operational response to the 2022 monkeypox virus (MPXV) outbreak, which is ongoing as of 2024. Since May 13, 2022, MPXV cases have been reported in multiple countries, including the United States.
