Tiffin University Announces International Trips to Costa Rica, London and Paris

Tiffin University is offering two international travel experiences open to students, alumni, friends and community members. Travelers can join a volunteer adventure in Costa Rica December 12-19, 2025, or explore the cities of London and Paris June 15-23, 2026. These trips aim to enhance global perspectives while providing experiential learning and professional development opportunities for all travelers. They align with the university's commitment to Celebrating Cultural Uniqueness (CCU) by offering a chance for personal growth, as well as the opportunity to earn course credit for our students.

An informational session for both trips will take place Monday, November 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Osceola Theatre in the Gillmor Student Center on TU's campus.

The Costa Rica trip includes visits to a coffee plantation, kayaking on Lake Arenal, a canopy zipline tour in Monteverde, various volunteer projects and more. The package covers round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations, meals, guided tours, transportation and local tips. The cost is $3,364 for students and $3,804 for adults, with a $50 deposit and flexible payment plans available.

The London and Paris trip features a guided sightseeing tour of London, cricket lesson at Lord's Cricket Ground and a West End theater performance. Participants will also travel via Eurostar to Paris to explore the Latin Quarter, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Montmartre and Versailles. They will partake in a cooking class and tour iconic sights including the Eiffel Tower, Louvre and Moulin Rouge. The trip costs $4,570 for students and $5,010 for adults, with an early bird discount of $200 for registrations by December 19, 2024. The package includes round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations, select meals, guided tours and transportation.

"We are thrilled to take flight again and to offer these incredible international travel opportunities, inviting our students, alumni, friends and community members to join us on unforgettable journeys with TU," said Vickie Wilkins, Director of Alumni Relations. "These trips not only provide a chance to explore new cultures but also foster lifelong connections and strengthen Dragon Nation across the globe."
