The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services (DWS) is excited to announce a series of public events for National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) Nov. 18-23, joining a nationwide celebration that highlights the value of Registered Apprenticeship in building a highly skilled workforce. NAW brings together employers, industry representatives, labor organizations, community-based organizations, educational institutions, workforce partners, and government agencies to showcase the economic impact of apprenticeship programs. These events will connect Wyoming residents with resources, training, and career pathways. Registered Apprenticeship sponsors across Wyoming will showcase their programs and facilities, creating a powerful pathway to good jobs and a brighter future for career seekers.
Governor Mark Gordon's Proclamation Signing
Governor Gordon will officially proclaim November 18-23, 2024 as National Apprenticeship Week in Wyoming with a public signing at the State Capitol. Community members, apprenticeship advocates, and workforce leaders are encouraged to join this event to celebrate Wyoming's commitment to workforce growth and development. All are welcome.
