Ellenburg Center male arrested for CPCS 7th and driving while imp...

On November 27, 2024, State Police members arrested Dylan C. Magoon, age 25, of Ellenburg Center, NY, for criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th and operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs 1st.

On November 27, 2024, at approximately 7:10 p.m., Troopers responded to the intersection of Pepper Hill Road and Route 11 in the town of Mooers for a report of a vehicle in the middle of the roadway. Troopers arrived on the scene and located a 2013 Ford F150 facing west towards Route 11, vehicle on, male in the driver seat, sleeping. The Trooper woke up the male driver, who was identified as Magoon. While interviewing Magoon, he was showing signs of impairment. The Troopers administered SFSTs, which he failed. The Troopers searched the vehicle and Magoon and located narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Magoon was arrested and transported to SP Champlain for processing.

Magoon was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Mooers Court for a later date in December.
