Commission Meeting Recap: July 16, 2024

Port of Tacoma Commissioners on July 16 authorized additional funding for remediation work associated with the Taylor Way and Alexander Avenue Fill Area. They also authorized design work for remediation of the former Arkema manufacturing site and demolition of old buildings and removal of unused tracks at the former Progress Rail site.

Commissioners also approved international travel for a trade and cultural mission.
