Female-Owned Art Gallery Experience Gypsy Cadillac Opens With ‘Mojave Road’ In Germantown Neighborhood

On Friday, September 20th tour photographers Sandra Wallbank (Charlie Puth, OneRepublic) and Valarie Allyn Bienas (Sugarland, Kenny Chesney) opened the doors of Gypsy Cadillac for the first time with their inaugural show, 'Mojave Road.' Located in the Germantown neighborhood of Nashville, the event attracted guests from across the greater Nashville area.

Guests enjoyed complimentary drinks courtesy of Southbound Tequila while immersing themselves in the stunning sights of 'Mojave Road.' The exhibition featured alluring portraits of wild horses and cinematic landscapes that captured the essence of the desert-dwelling trail. This installation metaphorically fills the cup of one's spirit, offering a rich experience through a blend of sights, sounds, and textures.

'Mojave Road'is an exhibition that showcases breathtaking photographs captured during a three-week-long journey through the Mojave Desert, featuring scenes from Joshua Tree, Death Valley, Las Vegas and more. Complemented by vintage, reimagined clothing from Cindy Sarver's Textile Revival (Franklin, TN), intricate wood craftsmanship by Bark n' Burl (Nashville), and unique ceramics by Matthew Rowe, the sensory-heavy elements create a nostalgic and cinematic atmosphere. As artists, Sandra and Valarie are stretching the boundaries of their craft to explore the unfamiliar challenges of change, expansion and individuality. For Valarie this effort goes deeper to a call of purpose and meaning after losing her son to an accidental overdose and is a significant step in her grief walk.
