Recruitment Notice: Associate Professor

The Department of Finemechanics at Tohoku University is recruiting an associate professor who is enthusiastic about both research and education. The ideal candidate should be able to take on the challenge of pioneering fundamental research fields while making full use of state-of-the-art measurement and analysis techniques related to tribology.

Successful candidates are expected to teach at the undergraduate (Division of Mechanical Engineering) and graduate school (Department of Finemechanics) levels, while directing research projects which will lead to MS and Ph.D. theses.
