Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. who sits on the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, issued the following statement on his meeting with President Donald Trump's nominee to serve as U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
"Today, I had a great meeting with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the next Secretary of Health and Human Services. I strongly support many of his goals, especially as it relates to Making America Healthy Again (MAHA). As a nation, we must prioritize addressing chronic disease, improving nutrition and food policy, ensuring vaccine and drug safety, empowering the physician-patient relationship, and leaving our world cleaner, safer, and healthier for future generations. I look forward to supporting his nomination and helping in the Trump Administration's mission to build a stronger and healthier America."
