House Democrats Celebrate Second Anniversary of the PACT Act

Thanks to House Democrats' leadership, more than 1 million veterans have benefitted from the PACT Act

Two years ago, the PACT Act was signed into law, marking the largest expansion of earned benefits and services for veterans in more than 30 years thanks to House Democrats.

Since its passage, there have been more than 1.1 million approved PACT Act claims, delivering:

More than 40% of House Republicans voted against the PACT Act last Congress, including former-Rep. Yvette Herrell (NM-02), Rep. Scott Perry (PA-10), and Rep. David Schweikert (AZ-01).

Additionally, every single House Republican voted for a 22% cut in veterans' benefits and services this Congress that would have meant fewer VA appointments and fewer disability claims processed.

DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton:
"House Republicans have repeatedly voted to deny our veterans the care and support they earned after they sacrificed for our country. House Democrats will always honor our veterans' service and ensure they receive the quality health care they deserve."
