McKinney Literary Fest schedule of events

"The response to our inaugural literary fest has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting a significant need in our community. While established authors with major publishing contracts have their platforms, our festival is filling a crucial gap by providing a stage for self-published authors and those aspiring to secure a book deal," said Spencer Smith, Director of the McKinney Public Library System. "We are proud to support our local authors and give them a stage to share their work. We're already planning for next year and hope to extend the invite to other local and regional authors to be a part of this event. Our community's enthusiasm reinforces the importance of supporting and celebrating local literary voices."

The McKinney Literary Fest is made possible by the generous support of its Visionary Sponsor, Calloway's Nursery, and Ambassador Sponsors, including Visit McKinney, The Comedy Arena, Handel's Homemade Ice Cream, and Market Street. The McKinney Public Library Foundation has also played a vital role in supporting this event.
