Connecting, Engaging and Empowering Kenyan Youth

The Youth Sounding Board (YSB) offers Kenyan youth a platform to inform EU policies and amplify diverse youth voices from all regions of Kenya.

The first ever EU- Kenya Youth Sounding board is now a fact!

The Youth Sounding Board (YSB) comprises 15 young Kenyan leaders, aged between 19 and 27 and representing their peers from different geographical and socio-economic backgrounds, including pastoralist communities, refugees and people with disabilities. The YSB is expected to serve as a platform for youth to engage in inclusive dialogue on the EU-Kenya partnership and advice on program implementation.

At the launch event, EU Ambassador to Kenya, H.E Henriette Geiger highlighted: "We want to have a continuous dialogue with young people. Our goal is to engageyoung people by giving them a voice in policy and decision-making.To empower them to lead sustainable change.And to connect them, amplifying their collective influence."
