Commerce Bank announces fourth annual #DriveUpPups charity campaign

St. Louis, MO - For the fourth consecutive year, as part of its #DriveUpPups campaign, Commerce Bank will donate up to $10,000 to 11 local non-profit organizations that improve the safety and wellbeing of animals.

From July 1 through September 30, 2024, customers who visit a Commerce drive-thru with their dogs will receive a special treat. Customers are encouraged to take a photo of their four-legged friend enjoying their treat, share it on Instagram, tag @CommerceBank and use #DriveUpPups. Commerce will donate $10 to charity partners across Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma for each photo posted and tagged, up to $10,000.

"Our bankers anticipate #DriveUpPups each year and look forward to seeing our valued customers and their pets for the fourth summer in a row," said Adam Steven, director of retail banking, Commerce Bank. "This is a fun opportunity to show appreciation to our customers, pamper their pups, and contribute to local organizations that strive to enhance the lives of pets and their owners."

St. Louis and Kansas City branches will also work with Bar K, a dog-friendly bar and restaurant, to provide Commerce customers who participate in the promotion with a free entry ticket. "This is our third year creating memorable experiences for dogs and their humans with Commerce Bank for its #DriveUpPups campaign," said Leib Dodell, Bar K co-founder. "We welcome Commerce customers and the public to join us at our St. Louis and Kansas City locations for the free photo event, scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 14, from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. CST."

Organizations who will receive the donations include KC Pet Project, Tower Grove Park, Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, Southeast Missouri Pets, Central Missouri Humane Society, Kansas Humane Society, Friends of the Animal Shelter of St. Joseph, Northeast Missouri Humane Society, Tulsa SPCA, Finney County Human Society and Riley County Humane Society.
