Central Park Intersection Improvements at Division and at Marquette

Intersection improvements at Central Park and Division and Central Park and Marquette begin July 8. Both projects will involve removing and replacing the existing pavement with concrete, along with ADA sidewalk and ramp improvements. The pedestrian signals will be upgraded at Division, and the traffic signal at Marquette will be fully replaced.

Phase 1 of the work at the Division at Central Park will close Central Park east of the Division and provide for southbound travel only on Division through the intersection. Work on this phase will take three to four weeks and then flip to northbound travel for another three to four weeks.

Currently, utility work has closed southbound travel on Marquette at Central Park. Sometime next week, Phase 1 of the work at Marquette at Central Park will begin with the closure of Central Park west of Marquette and provide for northbound travel only on Marquette through the intersection. Work on this phase will also take three to four weeks and then flip to southbound travel for another three to four weeks.
