Palestine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Condemns Anti-Arab Chants and Attack on Palestinian Flag in Amsterdam

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine strongly condemns the anti-Arab slogans and hostile actions carried out by supporters of an Israeli football club in Amsterdam. These acts included the desecration and removal of the Palestinian flag from symbolic sites that signify solidarity with Palestinian rights and resistance against the ongoing occupation and the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

The Ministry calls on the Dutch government to conduct an immediate investigation into the instigators of these disturbances and to protect Palestinians and Arabs residing in the Netherlands. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns all forms of violence. These actions, fueled by Israeli settlers and soldiers who have traveled to European capitals, aim to spread a racist and divisive ideology targeting Palestinian identity. The Ministry warns that tolerating such provocations not only threatens Palestinians but also undermines core principles of human rights and social cohesion, urging authorities to confront and counter these dangerous forms of anti-Palestinian sentiment
