Man Charged for Sexually Assaulting Two Teenagers

December 12, 2024, Peoria, IL - Today, Jordan W. Gibson, 20, was charged with Criminal Sexual Assault and Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse for sexually assaulting two teenagers at different times. Both victims are under the age of 18. Today, a detention hearing was held, and the State's Petition to Detain was granted, meaning he will remain in custody until trial.

Last weekend, deputies with the Peoria County Sheriff's Office received a report of a sexual assault involving a teenager. When deputies interviewed the victim, they were told that Gibson pushed the victim down and forcefully performed sexual acts on the victim. This investigation led detectives to a second victim who told deputies that one month ago, while the victim was lying in bed, Gibson took off the victim's clothing and had sex with the victim. More charges could be filed when the case proceeds to the grand jury.
