President Vahagn Khachaturyan received a delegation led by Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates.

Welcoming the guests, President Khachaturyan specifically stated: "We all highly value Your personal contribution to strengthening and developing relations between Armenia and the United Arab Emirates. I believe this is also a good opportunity to discuss issues related to the relations between our two countries."

"Over the years, there have been numerous mutual visits, both official and unofficial, participation in various events, as well as meetings on international platforms, which have brought us closer together. This is also evidenced by the increasing investment figures recorded by UAE business representatives. This development is progressing dynamically. On our part, there is a desire to expand our cooperation in all areas of mutual interest."

Anwar Gargash, in turn, stated: "First and foremost, I would like to convey the greetings of the UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to You.

I would also like to express my gratitude for Your reception. Our respect for the Republic of Armenia and the Armenian people is sincere, friendly, and profound. Naturally, bilateral relations are developing, but I also believe there are many areas that require further efforts for development. As representatives of the Emirates, we will fully support the realization of this vision."

During the meeting, a reference was made to the opportunities and directions for the continued expansion and development of cooperation between the two countries.

Both sides emphasized their mutual readiness to exert all possible efforts in various areas-political, economic, trade, industrial, tourism, and others-to fully realize the cooperation potential.

At the end of the meeting, President Vahagn Khachaturyan presented Anwar Gargash with the Medal of Honor for his significant contributions to establishing, strengthening, and developing friendly relations with the Republic of Armenia, for his efforts in protecting universal values. The medal was awarded on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Armenia's independence.
