State Route 4 - Ramp & Lane Closures

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 4/Crosstown Freeway (SR-4) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, one-way traffic control from Levee Road to Middle River Bridge for pavement repairs beginning Sunday, October 27, through Friday, November 1, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. Overnight closures to continue through November 3, 2024.
  • Overnight, full on-ramp closures at Wilson Way (eastbound) and Filbert Street (eastbound and westbound) SR-4/Crosstown Freeway for bridge work beginning Monday, October 28, through Friday, November 1, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control at Escalon Bellota Road for pavement work on Monday, October 28, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Interstate 5 - Lane & Ramp Closures
Closures From Mathews Road To County Line

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 (I-5) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full on-ramp closures from Mathews Road to northbound I-5 for bridge work beginning Sunday, October 27, through Friday, November 1, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full off-ramp closures from southbound I-5 at Mathews Road for bridge work beginning Sunday, October 27, through Friday, November 1, from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on-ramp closures from French Camp Road to I-5 for bridge work beginning Sunday, October 27, through Friday, November 1, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. (southbound.)
  • Overnight, full off-ramp closures from northbound I-5 at Downing Avenue for bridge work beginning Sunday, October 27, through Friday, November 1, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures at Downing Avenue southbound I-5 for bridge work beginning Sunday, October 27, through Friday, November 1, from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
  • Full off-ramp closure from southbound I-5 at Fremont Street for drainage work on Monday, October 28, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
  • Full off-ramp closure from northbound I-5 at March Lane for pavement work on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
  • Full off-ramp closure from northbound I-5 at Benjamin Holt Drive for pavement work on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from Hammer Lane to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line for construction beginning Sunday, October 27, through Friday, November 1, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. (southbound).
  • Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures at Hammer Lane, Eight Mile Road, SR-12 (Flag City), Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Walnut Grove/Thornton Road for construction beginning Sunday, October 27, through Friday, November 1, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. (southbound).

The above listed lane and ramp closures on I-5 between Hammer Lane and the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line are required as part of the I-5 Anchor Pavement Project that will improve 34 miles of existing pavement and shoulders from Hammer Lane in Stockton to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. The project will also replace on- and off-ramps with upgraded concrete at Eight Mile Road, State Route 12, Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Thornton Road/Walnut Grove Road. State Route 99 - Ramp Closures
Daytime Ramp Closures For Maintenance Work

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 99 (SR-99) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Full off-ramp closure from northbound SR-99 at SR-88/Waterloo Road for drainage work on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
  • Full off-ramp closure from southbound SR-99 at SR-120/Yosemite Avenue for pavement work on Thursday, October 31, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Interstate 205 - Ramp Closures
Closures At Tracy Boulevard For Construction

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 205 (I-205) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full closures of the Tracy Boulevard on-ramp to eastbound I-205 for construction beginning Sunday, October 27, through Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
