October Report: Economic Pressures Contribute to Market Slowdown
NMMA'sRecreational Boating Industry Monthly Data Summaryfor October 2024 is now available to download. The monthly summariesinclude performance indicators on wholesale and retail sales of new powerboats and outboard engines, economic metrics, and interactive graphs illustrating historical trends-making them a powerful tool to inform strategic decisions and keep industry stakeholders up to date on the economic trends shaping consumer demand.
Most of the economic indicators in the October report, which includes data through July, remain in the 'caution' category, indicating the industry should keep a close watch on their potential impacts. However, inflation was down month-over-month and interest rates continued to decrease.
