Olympia Youth Social Sat. Aug. 17

The young person in your life has important ideas about the Olympia we're creating.

Olympia youth are invited to an Olympia Youth Social to connect and enjoy live music, activities, a live art mural and free ice cream. This youth-hosted event will happen from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sat. Aug. 17 at Percival Landing Park.

The Youth Social is a precursor to a future Olympia Youth Council, where members will:

• Grow connections and belonging within the Olympia community,

• Gain an empowered relationship with the acts of self-governance, and

• Represent the other youth voices of Olympia and ensure youth voices are heard by the City so our community can prosper into the future.

The Olympia Youth Council application process will open this August for those who will be age 14 - 20 when terms begin in January 2025.
