Volunteers from Southwestern Oklahoma State University's (SWOSU) Department of Biological and Biomedical Sciences participated in Weatherford's Recycle Day, held at the city's recycling center. Organized by the Weatherford Environmental Group, the event facilitated the disposal of hard-to-recycle items, including light bulbs, batteries, and large metal pieces. Additionally, a truck was provided for secure paper shredding.
The event saw strong support from the local community, offering an excellent opportunity to educate residents about the importance of recycling and raise awareness about environmental challenges.
