Stark County: Construction Update
Week of July 1, 2024
Stark County (Thursday, June 27, 2024) -The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Stark County next week. All scheduled work is weather permitting.
US Route 62 and State Route 93 resurfacing, Sugarcreek & Tuscarawas Townships & Village of Wilmot
The following routes have various daily lane restrictions for resurfacing:
- US62 between US 250 and Lawndell Rd.
- SR 93 between SR 172 and SR 241.
Estimated completion, late August 2024.
US Route 62 and State Route 183 resurfacing, Alliance
The following routes have various lane restrictions for resurfacing:
- U.S. 62 between SR 183 and the Columbiana County line
- SR 183 from Beech St. to College St.
- SR 183 between Main St. and Madison Ave.
US Route 62; State Routes 21 & 619 microsurfacing, Massillon; Marlboro, Lexington & Perry Townships
The following routes have various lane restrictions for pavement repairs and microsurfacing:
- US 62/SR 21 from the northern Navarre Corporation limit to just south of US 30
- SR 619 between Etter Rd. and Atwater Ave.
Estimated completion, June 2025.
State Route 44 & 153 resurfacing, Louisville
SR 44 between the northern and southern Louisville Corporation limit has various lane restrictions for miscellaneous work. Estimated completion, late June 2024.
State Route 241 widening, Massillon
SR 241 between SR 172 and Burd Ave. has various lane restrictions for striping. Estimated completion, late July 2024.
