The Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani welcomed a statement by the UN Special Envoy for Yemen Hans Grundberg on a deal to resume flights from the Sana'a Airport and solve monetary and banking problems in Yemen.
Kanaani underlined, "The Islamic Republic of Iran considers any accord that eases economic pressures and removes the air, sea, and land siege on Yemen in the interest of the people in Yemen and thinks it would lead to solidity and stability in the country."
Meanwhile, the foreign ministry spokesperson highlighted the Islamic Republic of Iran's principled policy to resolve regional crises through talks and expressed hope that a lasting peace agreement would soon be signed in Yemen
