On Sunday, Nov. 10, the Tomball community gathered at the Tomball Walmart for a moving Veterans Day Ceremony dedicated to honoring those who have served in the U.S. armed forces. The one-hour program featured tributes to veterans, uniting community members, veterans, and city officials in a shared display of respect and gratitude.
The ceremony began with a presentation of colors by Willow Wood Junior High and included heartfelt performances from community members. Among those in attendance were Tomball VFW Post 2427 Commander Ed McDaris, the Klein Forest ROTC, Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce President Bruce Hillegeist, and Mayor Lori Klein Quinn, all joining the audience in solemn remembrance. The Tomball Police Department and Tomball Fire Rescue were also represented, with six police officers and seven fire personnel supporting the event.
This year's Veterans Day Ceremony was a meaningful tribute to our veterans, reinforcing Tomball's enduring commitment to honoring those who have served our nation with courage and dedication.
