On October 25, 2024, Troop B- Violent Gangs and Narcotics Enforcement Team charged JOHN W. SANTARSIERO, age 50, of Massena, New York, with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th (C Felony), Tampering with Physical Evidence (E Felony), 3 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th (Misdemeanor), 2 counts of Controlled Substance in Non-Original Container (Violation), and various Vehicle and Traffic tickets. The arrest stems from a traffic stop on Maple Street in Massena conducted by New York State Troopers at approximately 12:39 a.m. During the traffic stop, approximately 7 grams of Cocaine, a quantity of Xanax pills, quantity of Lorazepam pills and a glass smoking device was seized. SANTARSIERO was arraigned in the town of Massena Court and released.
