Express Soccer to Host Beach Soccer Fest at McGee Beach This Weekend

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - In partnership with the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department, Express Soccer Club is hosting the 18th Annual Express Beach Soccer Fest at McGee Beach, located at 402 S. Shoreline. This five-on-five soccer tournament is scheduled for this Saturday and Sunday, June 29 and 30, beginning at 8:00 a.m. and ending at approximately 8:00 p.m. each day.

Soccer Fest will feature over 165 teams from throughout the state, with approximately 20 teams from the Corpus Christi area. The participating teams have several age divisions ranging from youth to adult. The event expects an estimated 3,000 spectators over the two days.

Proceeds from the tournament are dedicated to future Express Soccer Club player scholarships.

The two-day event is free and is open to the public. A variety of food trucks will be available for spectators to enjoy.
