Consider donating to support OC firefighters recently injured in a crash

The City of Mission Viejo is asking community members to consider donating to support Orange County firefighters injured in a crash.

On September 19, eight of OCFA hand crew members were returning from battling the Airport Fire when they were involved in a rollover crash on a freeway in Irvine. Eight members were injured, six were critically injured and transported to area hospitals.

The Orange County Professional Firefighters Association, Local 3631 together with the Orange County Fire Authority are working to ensure these members and their families have the care and resources they need in the long road to recovery.

OC Firefighters Local 3631 will dispatch all funds raised to the Fallen Firefighter Relief Fund and distribute them directly to the affected firefighters and their families. OC Firefighter board members will personally deliver checks to the affected families.
