Governor Declares State of Emergency

A Tropical Storm Watch and Storm Surge Watch have been issued for coastal Georgia from the Mouth of St. Marys River to Altamaha Sound. Debby is expected to become a hurricane before landfall in the Florida big bend region.

Precautionary Measures: Residents are urged to take immediate steps to prepare for tropical activity and rapidly changing conditions. Secure outdoor items, stock up on essential supplies, and ensure you have a plan in place.
