Statement on Mandatory Leave of Absence for Councillor Miller

The City of Penticton advises that Councillor James Miller is on a mandatory leave of absence pursuant to the requirements of Sections 109.1 through 109.3 of the Community Charter. This section applies to a Council member who is charged with an offence under the Criminal Code.

As this matter is before the courts, and out of respect for all parties involved, no further comment will be provided.
