San José State University Earns Prestigious Rankings in U.S. News & World Report

Following up on San José State University's national Wall Street Journal ranking as the No. 4 public university in the nation, SJSU has achieved more notable rankings in the 2025 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings, reflecting a commitment to academic excellence and student success.

SJSU ranked #4 among Regional Universities (West), #3 among Top Public Schools - Regional Universities (West), and #11 among Best Value - Regional Universities (West), acknowledging its affordability and high-quality education.

Additionally, SJSU was recognized for its dedication to military veterans and their families, ranking #3 among Best Colleges for Veterans - Regional Universities (West). The university also secured the #12 spot in Social Mobility - Regional Universities (West), highlighting its commitment to providing opportunities for students from all backgrounds to succeed.

Furthermore, SJSU's undergraduate business program jumped 32 places from last year's ranking to come in at #127 among the Best Undergraduate Business programs in the nation, demonstrating the strength of its Lucas College and Graduate School of Business, which ranks #2 among California State Universities, alongside Cal Poly SLO, Cal Poly Pomona and CSU LA.
