Kolon Benit Holds an Event for...

On the 19^th, at Lotte Hotel World in Jamsil, Seoul, Kolon Benit (CEO Kang Yi-gu), an IT services specialist of the Kolon Group, announced that it had held the 'Kolon Benit AI Alliance Connect 2024' to launch an 'AI Alliance' with 53 companies.

The AI Alliance, led by Kolon Benit, is a collaboration between companies that provide innovative AI technologies, solutions, and infrastructure to revitalize the AI market. Based on each company's expertise, the alliance will strengthen AI business cooperation and expand joint business opportunities. Currently, the AI Alliance is comprised of 53 companies, including Lotte Novate, Kyobo DTS, Saltlux, and Eastsoft.

Kolon Benit with more than 30 years of IT distribution capabilities and infrastructure will play a central role in the AI Alliance. Based on its network of more than 1,000 partners and AI-specific support system, the company will provide all-round support, including forming a consortium, providing an environment for proof-of-concept (PoC/BMT) and demonstration based on the AI Solution Center, conducting consulting and pre-sales, and operating technical / sales / marketing training.

As a first step, Kolon Benit held the 'Kolon Benit AI Alliance Connect 2024' to provide a forum for exchanges between participating companies. In the morning, all participating companies gathered together for the launch ceremony, and in the afternoon, a total of 24 companies held seminars to share business models, references, and AI solution architectures. Microsoft and Kolon Benit's global vendors, such as IBM, Dell Technologies and Red Hat, presented as sponsors.

In his keynote speech, Kang Yi-gu, CEO of Kolon Benit, said, "Many companies are considering AI, but they are faced with the burden of huge investment costs and the difficulty of creating real business opportunities. Kolon Benit will actively work with innovative AI companies in the AI Alliance to find solutions and contribute to revitalizing the AI ecosystem."

While continuing to expand the AI Alliance, Kolon Benit will also work to develop AI business models by holding workshops with participating companies. Further, by continuing to invest in and internalize AI technology, Kolon Benit intends to become an AI aggregator that can offer best AI solutions to its customers worldwide.
