Metrolink to Operate Weekend Schedule, Offer $10 Day Pass on Memorial Day

LOS ANGELES - On Monday, May 27,Memorial Day, Metrolink will operate on a weekend schedule on the Antelope Valley, Orange County, 91/Perris Valley, San Bernardino, Inland Empire-Orange County and Ventura County lines. The Riverside Line will not be in service. Arrow trains will also operate on a weekend schedule.

Also on Memorial Day, the $10 Holiday Passwill be available at ticket machines at all Metrolink stations under "special ticket options" and on the Metrolink Mobile App. The pass allows for unlimited rides throughout the system on the day of purchase, making it even more affordable for Southern California residents and visitors to take Metrolink to beaches and other destinations.

Metrolink's Rail 2 RailĀ®program with Amtrak, which allows Metrolink Monthly Pass holders to travel on Pacific Surfliner trains within station pairs at no additional charge, will be suspended from Friday, May 24 through Tuesday, May 28. The program will resume on Wednesday, May 29.

Pacific Surfliner codeshare trains, which accept all Metrolink tickets and passes between Los Angeles and Ventura, may also be affected during the blackout period. Pacific Surfliner can suspend the agreement and not accept Metrolink tickets and passes on a train-by-train basis based on capacity.
