WASHINGTON, D.C. - Rep. Mark Amodei issued the following statement on President Biden pardoning his son, Hunter Biden:
"Yesterday was a sad day for our country-one that exposes the undeniable failure of our national media, which has enabled what appears to be the highest level of corruption in the land," said Rep. Mark Amodei."President Biden's intentionally vague 'full and unconditional pardon' of his son Hunter Biden, despite repeatedly claiming such action would never occur, is textbook abuse of power from the highest office. This Administration has single-handedly stained the integrity of our justice system and solidified their disturbing belief that the law does not apply to them, further validating the critical work of the Oversight Committee. The extent of this unprecedented political corruption will go down as an unsettling and deeply depressing day for our nation's history."
