The National Weather Service to hold three Winter Skywarn presentations in Detroit Nov. 13 and Nov. 16

The National Weather Service (NWS) will hold three Winter Skywarn presentations in Detroit November 13 and November 16. Learn about winter storms, what to expect this winter, winter safety, and how to report to the National Weather Service. The presentations are all open to the public.

The presentations will be held at the following locations and times:

• Wednesday, November 13, from 6 pm - 7:30 pm at the Eastside Community Network, 4401 Conner Street, Detroit, 48215
• Saturday, November 16, from 10:30 a.m. - noon, at the Community Center at AB Ford Park, 100 Lenox Street, Detroit, 48215
• Saturday, November 16, from 2 pm - 3:30 pm, at the Detroit Public Library, Main Branch, in the Galleria, 5201 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, 48202. There will be free parking available in the lot off of Putnam Street.
