Metrolink to Operate Weekend Schedule and Offer $10 Holiday Pass on Labor Day

LOS ANGELES - On Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 2, Metrolink, Southern California's regional passenger rail service, will operate on a weekend schedule on the Antelope Valley, Orange County, 91/Perris Valley, San Bernardino, Inland Empire-Orange County and Ventura County lines. Metrolink trains will not operate on the Riverside Line on Labor Day.

To make travel even more accessible over the holiday weekend, Metrolink is offering a $10 Holiday Pass, allowing unlimited rides throughout the system on Labor Day. Travelers can also take advantage of the $10 Weekend Day Pass on the preceding Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 30 and Sept. 1.

The $10 Holiday Pass can be conveniently purchased through the Metrolink Mobile Appor at Metrolink station ticket machines under "special ticket options." This pass provides unlimited single-day travel across the Metrolink network, making it easy for riders to exploreSouthern California or visit family and friends.

The Rail 2 Rail® program with Amtrak Pacific Surfliner, which allows Metrolink Monthly Pass holders to travel on Pacific Surfliner trains within station pairs at no additional charge, will be suspended from Friday, Aug. 30, through Tuesday, Sept. 3. The program will resume on Wednesday, Sept. 4. This blackout will not affect Pacific Surfliner codesharetrains operating between L.A. Union Station and Ventura.

As summer draws to a close, Metrolink's $15 Summer Day Passremains available through this Friday, Aug. 30.
