The University of Toledo Athletic Department announced a partnership with High Level Distilling, a subdivision of the Maumee Bay Brewing Company, to launch a vodka-based ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktail beverage.

The Rocket Booster is a blueberry lemonade-flavored beverage specially made to celebrate the rich history of the Toledo Rockets. This collaboration serves as another exciting extension of the Rocket brand.

Proceeds from every Rocket Booster purchase will be allocated to the Toledo Spirit Group Fund, which supports the Rocket Marching Band, the cheerleaders and the Dancing Rockettes.

"We are thrilled to collaborate with the Maumee Bay Brewing Company to create a Toledo Rocket branded RTD beverage," said Toledo Vice President and Director of Athletics Bryan B. Blair. "We are especially pleased that sales from the Rocket Booster will benefit our marching band, dance and cheer programs. Our team and Maumee Bay Brewing Company worked really hard to bring this partnership to life. We will continue to explore unique partnerships that benefit our students, while enhancing fan engagement and celebrating all that's great about being a Rocket."

"We are excited to partner with The University of Toledo on our newest addition to our ready- to-drink cocktail line," said Shannon R. Mohr, director of Brewery Sales and Operations for Maumee Bay Brewing Company and High Level Distilling. "Rocket Booster has been a blast, pun intended, to watch come together. We've been making amazing craft drinks in Toledo since 1995, and the collaboration with a strong community partner like The University of Toledo has always been important to us. To be able to come together over a Rocket Booster or two to celebrate is that much sweeter."

The Rocket Booster will be available at Toledo's next home football game, the Battle of I-75 vs. Bowling Green on Saturday, Oct. 26 (3:30 p.m. kickoff), and at all athletic events where beer is sold. It also will be available in four-packs at the Maumee Bay Brewing Company, and its sister location, the Shawnee Station Tap Room in Shawnee Hills, Ohio, and at many of your favorite local retailers.
