Tiffin University Names Staff Award Winners

Tiffin University's Assembly for Staff Engagement and Talent (ASSET) has named its annual staff award winners. Five awards were presented in total.

The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Distinguished Leadership Award recognizes achievements in developing a culturally diverse, caring university community reflective of inclusive excellence. The 2024 recipient was Kerry Jones, Coordinator of Assessment.

The Service to Campus Award recognizes one's individual excellence in aiding the University's community and its members. Michelle Renninger, University Retail and Postal Manager was the recipient.

The Service to the Community Award recognizes one's individual excellence in service to the local community of Tiffin and Seneca County. The 2024 recipient was Rebecca Kielbasa, Digital Content Specialist.

The Excellence in ICARE Values Award recognizes a staff member's commitment to embodying the chosen Tiffin University ICARE Value for the given academic year. This year's focus was interdependence. This year's recipient was Cassie Paas, Assistant Director of Online Undergraduate Admissions, Transfer and Articulation.

The Lori Hall Staff Member of the Year Award honors its namesake former employee, whose character embodied the same values the ASSET leadership team deems integral for an exceptional staff member. Chelsea Bass, Coordinator of First-Year Experience and Assistant Director of Student Success, was named the recipient.

"From the entire ASSET Executive Leadership team, we wish congratulations and extend our deep gratitude to all the winners and nominees," said Nick Bollinger, Assistant Director of Postgraduate Admissions and ASSET Facilitator. "Their remarkable efforts and professional excellence continue to showcase why Tiffin University is such a special place to work, learn and grow. We are truly lucky to have these individuals as colleagues and our students are fortunate to benefit from their unwavering dedication and the example they set."
