TRAFFIC ALERT: Routes 18, KK & V CLOSED in Bates Co. for Pipe Replacement Nov. 19, 20 & 21

When/Where:

• 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday, November 19
  • Missouri Route 18 between Northwest 14002 and Bates County Route Y north of Merwin
• 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Wednesday, November 20
  • Route KK between Northeast 13004 and Missouri Route 18 east of Adrian
• 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Thursday, November 21
  • Route V between Southwest 998 and Southwest 1758 northwest of Foster

What: MoDOT crews replacing collapsed pipes underneath the road

Traffic Impacts:

• All lanes of affected routes CLOSED where crews are working
• Drivers will be able to access driveways and entrances on either side of the work zone, but will not be able to travel through the work zone
• Drivers urged to find alternate routes
• No signed detours planned
• Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
• Check MoDOT's Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
