Prime Minister Luc Frieden attends the fifth meeting of the European Political Community (EPC) in Budapest on 7 November 2024.
The summit brings together leaders from across Europe to foster dialogue and cooperation based on the outcomes of previous summits, the most recent of which was held at Blenheim Palace in the UK in July this year. Discussions will primarily focus on Europe's challenges regarding security, migration, and economic resilience.
The Prime Minister also holds bilateral meetings with several heads of state and government.
On 8 November, Luc Frieden will take part in the informal meeting of the European Council, centred on Europe's competitiveness.
This meeting begins with a dinner for heads of state and government the evening before, during which current European and international issues will be discussed.
