Fatal house fire in Yorkshire

On September 6, 2024, at approximately 4:00 A.M., Troopers out of SP Machias responded to 3825 Creek Road in the town of Yorkshire for a single-family residential fire. Troopers and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation are assisting multiple fire departments. It is confirmed to have multiple fatalities at this time.
