Olympia, WA artist Chris Maynard on new PBS episode of Craft in America!
Check out our own Chris Maynard featured in a science episode of Craft in America, a Peabody Award-winning series on PBS :)
"Maynard, a native of Washington state, carves feathers into intricate art to make their natural beauty more noticeable. His work highlights the patterns and colors of the feathers themselves, inviting the viewer to look and look again. A conservationist at heart, Maynard's feathers are legally obtained. Many of the feathers are naturally shed which means that the birds they came from may still be alive today."
Harlequin's unique adaptation of A Christmas Carol returns to the State Theater
