Delaware County - The Town of Hamden Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Solar Energy Systems Local Law will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of a Solar Energy Systems Local Law to provide direction to applicants seeking to construct solar energy systems in the Town of Hamden. The proposed legislation will also provide guidance to the Town of Hamden Planning Board and the Town Building Department, both entities vested with the review and approval of solar energy systems. The Solar Energy Systems Local Law classifies applications into four different tiers based upon capacity. The project is located throughout the Town of Hamden, New York.
